
Reverend Wayne Rodney Griffith
Rev. Wayne Rodney Griffth
Rev. Wayne Rodney Griffith is a resident of Ewing Township, New Jersey. Reverend Griffith is married to the former Joanne V. Barnes and they are the proud parents of two children, Rachel and Joel. Rev. Griffith is a graduate of Mercer County Community College, where he serves as Chairman of the Board of Trustees. He also has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration, from the College of New Jersey where he is a Board of Trustees member. He is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Divinity at the Philadelphia College of Bible, Langhorne, PA.
Rev. Griffith has served as the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Pennington since October 11, 1992. He currently conducts two weekly cable television broadcast and two weekly radio broadcast.
Other religious affiliations include: President & CEO of the Concerned Pastors of Trenton Economic Development Corporation; Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Capitol County Community Development Corporation; Treasurer of the Middlesex Central Baptist Association of New Jersey; member of the Pennington Borough Clergy Association and Former President and Dean of the Middlesex Central Baptist Association Congress of Christian Education.

Reverend Griffith is the owner of Griffith & Grace Consulting Services, which includes commercial real estate development and lobbyist activities. Reverend Griffith is a licensed real estate agent since 1978, and has listed, sold, and counseled perspective clients concerning all housing matters. Reverend Griffith is also a member of the Mercer County Chamber of Commerce; Metropolitan Trenton African American Chamber of Commerce; and former elected member of the Hamilton Township Board of Education, where he was the first African-American to serve as President.
He has conducted classes and seminars at the national, state and local levels. He is an instructor at the Philadelphia Biblical University in their Institute of Higher Learning and also on the national staff of the National Baptist Convention USA, Inc. In addition, Reverend Griffith’s writings have been included in publications of the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc.
His Life Verse is: “Being confident of this very thing, that he who has begun a good work in you shall perform it until the day of Jesus Christ.” Philippians 1:6
His life motto is: "The task ahead is never greater than the
power of God within.
