We acknowledge the importance of every member of our church family as a uniquely gifted child of God. We will cultivate an environment where unbelievers are welcomed, new believers are discipled and all are assisted in identifying and practicing their God ordained spiritual gifts.

No connection to ethnicity, clan or earthly family relation will supersede God’s family design. We will stimulate, grow and encourage obedience and motivate all to be all they can be in Christ Jesus.

The First Baptist Church of Pennington, is a body of believers whose principles are biblically based and centered on Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. It is a spiritual fellowship, which focuses on Christian evangelism and Christian edification as priorities. The Church sees itself as a family, which provides resources of holistic growth to individuals and family units of the Church, as they journey (sojourn) towards a deeper relationship with God.

The First Baptist of Pennington, reaches out with Christian concern to its immediate and broader communities to improve the quality of living as a witness to the love of God. Further, The First Baptist Church is a proactive ministry, which utilizes Christian principles to empower God’s people through partnerships in community development programs, which address human service needs.
